Cursor options

Where are the cursor options? For example, have the cursor return to the position where play was started? And the screen as well.

Also, when hitting 'w' on the keyboard how do you insure that the screen shows the start of the song along with the cursor?

And cursor options when using the piano roll? I have a list of keyboard shortcuts but can nothing about the cursor position. Thanks.

By Cursor I guess you mean "Now time"?

The option to return to last now time position or stay at the current is in the Track View menu under "Options" ---> "On stop, rewind to now marker"

It will also lock scrolling if you click in the TV or PRV to perform an edit i.e. select something. To restart scrolling right click in the top half of the time ruler.

That behaviour for both Track View and PRV is changed in Track View menu---->Options--->Click Behaviour---->left click locks scroll

Thanks, Karl. That does it. 'Now time' is the new 'Cursor', I guess. So many things to look for it sometimes gets overwhelming. I've finally started using Sonar X2 full time (from FL Studio) and the little things baffle me at times.
