[font="verdana, arial, tahoma, calibri, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248)"]hi everyone
[font="verdana, arial, tahoma, calibri, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248)"]well at the moment just getting started and using laptop audio so i thought at the start i'd use headphones out of the audio jack on it..been messing all night setting things up connecting my RD700SX ( only works midi with generic as no drivers available) and have got sound coming through but its distorted even when the levels are really low ( not Peaking in red)..so distorted in headphones and computer speakers when unplugged. [font="verdana, arial, tahoma, calibri, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248)"]is this because i am not using an audio interface and the laptop sound card cant cope do you think? as a matter of fact speakers are distorting without midi keyboard attached but only with x2 open..
[font="verdana, arial, tahoma, calibri, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248)"]any ideas people??
