Did you know that ...... And any advice

I got hired as a tech at Six Flags Great America. I'll be doing sound and stuff in their main theatre and sound for the bands they have playing in and around the park. Stuff like that.

Summer work!

Well ... Should be interesting.

Any advice anyone want to give me ?

    Thanks ol pal ....

I wish I could wear a speedo. I'll be inside mostly in an air conditioned theatre. I have to wear these blue docker pants and polo shirt thing that says six flags tech on it.

You know ... Other wise I'd probably just wear a thong with a speedo or something .... Hey the life guards get to wear a swim suit. Doesn't seem fair does it?

I miss the Colossus ... and the "trips" ... they were fun too!

Try not to annoy Ritchie Blackmore when he plays there. That would be my best advice.. OH and don't annoy Van Morrison or Ginger Baker... otherwise you should do OK!! I hope they run some good acts through there.. maybe Paul Revere and the Raiders will swing by.

Have fun!!! What a great gig. I think it is awesome really.

You'll want good comments about you in the way you treat the artists and all.  Seems like half the battle to stay on the gig is how well others like you as compared to how well you mix.  It's been a long time since I heard a really good live mix these days.  Sometimes I think the mixer guys have lost a lot of hearing in the 3K to 10K area.  Most mixes are so harsh with high end it's hard for an older guy like me to listen to it.

Break a leg and stay cool.

Sounds like a fun gig.  It could of been worse like being a tech at Disney.
