Soundcard help

Hi all,

New to Sonar and this forum, and I've run into a soundcard problem:  When running a SPDiF signal (on co-axial) through my M-Audio Firewire 410 it monitors just fine. But the recording of that signal in X2 comes out fuzzy and at a slightly accelerated pace. I have set the M-Audio interface to sync with the external  source (not the internal clock), as is required by the soundcard.

I'm running windows 7  64 bit on an 2.8Mhz dual core with 4 gigs ram, and X2 seems to play back midi projects just fine.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks . . .

Be sure that the sample rate is the same in Sonar and your sound card/s.

Can you please post back with what you did to get things working?  It might help someone else in the future.

Also, I checked my audio interface settings, and mine is set to use its internal clock, and I am having no problems whatsoever with it and Sonar.  My interface is a Presonus AudioBox 1818 VSL.
