Deception
I've been working on this sont for a bit. It's a WIP and I thought I would share it with you. It's a heavy subject. I don't know whether there is a god or not but there isn't a religion out there that knows who god is. It's missing the lead and the vocal notes are there but it needs vocalists. If anyone wants to take part, PM me Enjoy!!! Deception

I exceedingly love the dramatic guitars and choirs!!!! I think I'd bite for a vocal line (and/or with my 'choirs'), hook, lead section, etc., if there were 'starting' hook lyrics ... though I'd lull into the ('deceived') believer camp with emotive anti-anti-faith bias, IYKWIM. :):):) Another recommendation is Danny Danzi (a "believer") ... who oft likes to start fresh like this and seems broad minded. Like ... he can anticipate better your thoughts and lyrics before you write them. You might solicit a duet ... believer vs non-believer ... or such. PM Danny and/or me if interested. Many rock stars here are non-theistic, IIRC. Of course, having a raging, railing, Evolution vs. Creation debate would probably be futile for both camps ... so ... some tentative lyrics or vocal hooks, my friend, would help our lead antics ... like: "God or no god ... I'm stuck down here!" "The war around me ... makes me fear" "The bloody screams ... the devil's sneer" "Will God save me ... Is He near?" Etc.

Thanks for checking it out. I do have lyrics for it. The funny thing is, people would read them and think they are against god. If fact, they are not against god but for god. It's just my problem with religion. Either your going to believe or not. Since we live in a war society as individual as it can get, society does not believe. Also, Christianity and probably other religions are all plagiarized from other sources multiple times over. So I took the lyrics out of the post because I thought people were dissuaded from listening because they did not get the lyrics.

This is great so far. I'd love to hear Bob Oister and Danny Danza singing this.

Nice chunky guitar. Good groove. And the keyboard sound works really well w/ it. In fact, the whole thing sounds good. The lyrics should top it off - let us know. @

Robert, Nice start. Very good backing track. Looking forward to hearing more as this progresses along. The only thing I noticed was the drum fill at 3:33 sounded a little bit funky to me.. otherwise outstanding beginning. Regards

Thanks Markno999! I appreciate it. That little snare hiccup wasn't supposed to be there but it ended up there because of an editing mishap but I decided I liked it so I left it. I believe it is playable so I'm leaving it for now. Thanks for checking it out Mark. :-)

Great start Rob. Mix is very lowfi, but I imagine with time you will fatten it up a bit.

Great start to something bigger. Lots of room for vocals and keyboards. Nice sound on the guitars. Peace and blessings, John
