Exporting tracks of differenet lengths

Is there a way to export multiple tracks maintaining the actual length of each individual track?  The export function assigns all tracks to have the length of the largest track in the collection.

You don't nessesarely need to export all tracks with the length of the largest track in the collection. You can select the area you want to export in the time line.

Unfortunatelly all tracks will be exportet with the same length though.. :/

I also think this would be a great feature though, that (if you choose to export as tracks) you could tick a box that says "export tracks with individual lengths"..

Send in a feature request :)

You could just select the tracks individually and export them one at a time. Little more work though. Edit: Actually I'm just assuming it would work but maybe it would still follow the longest clip.

No problem! :) I really hope Cakewalk implements this!

No, your assumption is right. :) I work quite alot with sound design where I want to export short sound effect and in Sonar it's always just the area that's selected in the timeline that gets exported.

So selecting all clips in a track (or even just one clip anywhere in the project) will export just this part (since a selected clip automaticly becomes the selection in the timeline). It's important that you, in addition to the selected clip, also have the track on which the clip is located selected.
