Stornoway, Anyone?

Have any of you come across the music of a Brit band called Stornoway?  I never would have heard of them except that Sound on Sound did a piece on them last month.  I was sufficiently intrigued that I ordered their second (and most recent) album, Tales from Terra Firma, from amazon.com in spite no track samples being present.

I can hardly keep myself from hitting replay when the disk finishes.  This music is joyful and infectious beyond belief.  These guys look way too young to have this kind of inspired orchestration chops.  For example, in the first cut, we get standard rock instruments with some nice brass and a friggin' Theremin (or something that sounds a lot like one) and who knows what else?

Gotta go now ... there's another Stornoway album that needs ordering!

Never heard of them, but...  After all of one sample listened to on YouBoob, I think I like them!  Guess I'll put them on my "to get" list.

Never heard of Belle and Sebastian.  Guess I'll have to check them out as well.
