new forum?

I upgraded to new version of internet explorer. Been a couple weeks since I've been on the forums. Did they change? Not sure if the change I am seeing is from the new version of IE or if the forums actually changed. Doesn't seem like the forum is working correctly for me. The buttons don't seem to working properly and now I can't make 2 posts in a "short amount of time"?  What is the appropriate amount of time between posts?  I'm getting a bad feeling about this....

AMD FX-6100 six-core processor 3.3GHz

Presonus Digimax

Alesis DM8 Pro drums
KRK Rokit 8s

Folgers Dark Roast, a bit of crazy :)
& lots of help from the forums!

lol, Tracey... Yes they updated the forum and you seem to have accidentally posted this a half dozen or so times. The Cannot Post 2 COnsecutive Posts thing has been around forever to prevent spam but apparently there is no forum feature to prevent simultaneous thread postings.

Anyway there are a bunch of threads that got flushed down to the Coffee House regarding the new forum software. Lots of insight as to how the new set up works. Cheers.

The "submit post" button under the quick reply box does not always work for me in Chrome. Just thought I'd put that out there

Yeah, it was giving me a problem earlier too. I clicked it a couple times with no response and thought maybe I'd end up with a triple post but after navigating around and a bunch of refreshes only my third attempt showed up.

There are still some bugs in the system but at least it is mostly working in Firefox. I was about to reinstall Opera before they updated.

Rats...it always sucks when old problems get replaced by a whole new set of shiny new ones. Where have we seen that before?

Well the double post problem was kind of always there but I think it's just manifesting itself a little differently and it definitely seems to be intermittent (I've been posting like mad since the change and I only had it happen that one time). Considering I don't have to type in my own HTML just to get line breaks anymore I'll take it as a win.

One thing I do not like though is the fact that if I have logged out, cleared my cache and have not enabled the Cakewalk domain I cannot see the timestamps on or in threads so if I just decide to check in on things I can't tell how old posts are. Just gives me the weird little missing character cube.

I like all feedback! I am learning and value any and all feedback.

BTW, looks like it got posted a few times in the songs section also. I didn't know that was possible.
