Roland Octa-Capture

Hello all.

I recently purchased the Octa-Capture because according to the Roland website, works in the Windows 8/64 bit environment.

However, after several attempts I can't get the driver to successfully install.  I downloaded the most recent version from Roland's website and followed the instructions to no avail.

In Control Panel I am getting the message
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

I am using Windows 8 with an HP Envy Desktop (1414C).  Anyone had success installing the drivers in the Windows 8 environment for this audio interface?

Do you happen to have the interface plugged into a USB 3 port?  If so, try uninstalling the drivers, then installing them per instructions, with the interface getting plugged into a USB 2.0 port when directed to do so.

Give that a shot and post back,

Enjoy the new OC. I love mine and get good results with it!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
