Upgrading to producer X2 from X1 issues

Has anyone had errors when trying to install the downloaded upgrade to producer x2 ?
I keep getting messages that say corrupted files. I've tried downloading it multiple times even using different links. I'm using windows 7 but I don't think it's my browser cause I've tried multiple computers.
I'm hoping I can figure this out so I don't have to buy a hard copy.
Any ideas/ suggestions ?
