can Sonar X2 Essentials do this?
I'm using my phone to record layered multitrack of my clarinets and drums. Because my app is a multitrack recorder, I already have the tracks synchronized to each other. All I really need to do with my DAW is load the wavs up into different mono tracks, then trim the front of all tracks and trim the end of all tracks and then set levels and do a final mix down. This seems pretty elementary, so I thought it might be a good project to try out Sonar X2 Essential, which I've had for a while but never used.
But I've gone through the tutorials and I can't quite figure out how to do the trimming without also having to do other strange things like make clip groups, slip edit or make envelopes? Have I just missed something blindingly obvious?
