Track Editing

I've got about 8 tracks recorded. Started the project with a midi file. When I want to hear the song from the beginning, the song kicks in about measure 3. How can I move the tracks in order for the song to begin measure 1 or 2? I thought I might delete all the tracks at the same time up to measure 3, but not sure how to go about that or even if that's the right choice. Suggestions?

Generally it is a good idea to have an empty measure or two at the beginning of a projects containing MIDI tracks. To delete measures tracks:
    Select the tracks
Drag across the timeline to select the time to delete
From the Edit menu select "Cut Special" or "Delete Special" and check all the appropriate boxes including "Delete hole" to shift the remaining data to the left.

You can also lasso all the clips and drag them to any measure you want. Just be sure to set your snap to grid to measure or any other setting that you feel comfortable with
