Night Watch stills and CD link

A couple of photo's from last nights show. I got some incredible video for this show. Two camera's and full access. Editing this is going to be the biggest challenge I have yet faced.

The Night Watch is a neo-prog band lead by a friend of mine Nathanael (guitar player on the left - spelling is correct). They have taken modern progressive music to a whole new level. I consider Nathanael one of the most talented people I have ever met, and I am not saying that lightly.

Pics are nice, but does the band have any CD's out?  Me like neo-prog.

Nice pictures ... the drummer has excellent taste in textiles (i.e., rugs).  I always used to gig with just a cheap piece if black indoor / outdoor carpet.

Only the bass player OR the drummer is allowed to have moobs, otherwise you'd be able to see that the bass player was a half-beat behind...

    LOL - exactly.

Craig, if you are genuinely interested I can look into getting you a copy. I promise you it will be the best 10 bucks you have spent on music this week. (In all seriousness they are fantastic, the drummer may well be the next Neil Peart).

Funny you should mention the carpet Dave, it was the first thing I noticed too. LOL

So, I am not quite sure what you are getting at … and I seriously don’t want to send this thread down the moob route … but, are you saying that moobs are somehow related to the ability multiple rhythmatists (e.g., bassist, drummer, etc.) to keep time with each other or that multiple sets of moobs create the illusion of being out of sync?

Mike, I am impressed. Chiaroscuro and Sfumato are my two favourite styles.

Moobs flop to the beat Dave.  If one set is in the "up" position while the others are in the "down" position, it's easy to see they aren't in sync.

(Now try getting that visual out of your head!  )

@Foxwolfen - Is there anywhere I can hear samples of their stuff?  I don't seem to be finding any on YouTube.

Perhaps the carpet is a homage to Greg Lake's famous rug.

After Greg was electrocuted at an ELP gig,  the stage crew got a rubber mat for him to stand on.  He thought it looked awful, so he asked his roadie to get a bit of carpet to cover it up.

Some people have claimed the resulting Persian rug was worth £25,000..
