Yeah. Here's hoping that your kids treat you 'Everyday' like its fathers day! I feel quite fortunate in that regard. You guys enjoy.

Hi, Thoughts on a nice, blue sky day ... To anyone that is a father: Have a terrific day, and hope that mom and the children make you feel as special as you know you are and deserve to be. To anyone else that is not a father: (like me) Some of you got lucky, and some didn't. If there is one sadness in my life, it is that I never had the opportunity to get married, or had a relationship that deserved more ... only one, really ... that I never got over, and cleared. I would marry her in a second, given a second chance, but the fact that it didn't happen and we never even saw each other again, kinda closed the book ... inside my heart! I'm not exactly an unhappy person, but having a family and 2.1 kids was not what I saw inside ... I saw a vision of poetry, music, art, dreams ... and many other things. More than likely it was a romantic notion that many women abhor and does not make them feel confident in any manner that there will one day, be a comfortable little home to rest your bum and what not. Well, my travels from Portugal to Brazil, to America, pretty much showed me that ... your home is your heart ... and having a child or not, has nothing to do with anything else, except your desire, love and care to be with that person (again ... a romantic notion!) ... and because I was never "hooked", I was never domesticated, like so many domineering women tend to like to have ... So it never happened for me, and I stuck to writing, because I could not afford a film camera, and had no English skills when I came to America to even consider making a film! The only think I had, then, was me ... inside ... Anyways ... sorry .. wtf do you care ... Happy Father's Day to the many of you that are lucky enough to know the difference!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Moshkiae, hey man, it's all good. That was a true moment from within right there. Seems that was something that needed to come out. Having children is the best thing that occurred in my life. However when I read what you have done, traveled the world and followed your heart to fulfill your desires, Well THAT is something I wish I could or would have done! I played it safe and stayed in Indiana instead of packing it up and heading to California with my bud to pursue music. Want to guess how many times I have deliberated over that decision. All for a reason.....

Happy Fathers day. And Steve, you are quite right. I miss my dad. Our fishing trips were something that was just ours. And Buchanan Creek was our favorite place. Precious memories. I may have written the song, but it belongs to him. http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=4791176
