Can you prevent accidental edits or changes?

I've got a couple of tracks grouped together, loaded with effects and sounding great - can I protect them from accidental edits or changes while at the same time keeping them audible?

Thanks - rev

The safest way would be to bounce and archive the original tracks the lock the bounced clips. You can always go back and unarchived the originals if necessary.

That's pretty straightforward, I found the Freeze Track feature but I know there are problems and bugs with it. I like your idea better. Archive and Hide is the best way to go.
