Ok all you woodworkers!

How would you have liked to have made this secretary cabinet, by hand, with the tools available over 200 years ago???

    That's nothin'!

If I start now, I'll have it done by Friday!

In fact, I'll make 2 just for fun!

I'll just go to the local library & photocopy the plans & get started right away!

Seriously though, all those hidden drawers & compartments, never mind the detail and all the inlays.

As someone who has built a solid oak pool table from scratch & by hand in one week without any plans or drawings, I must say that that is nothing short of incredible!

    And 200 years ago??

    WOW is right!!!

    I am humbled.

Do you think we'll see something like this in IKEA any time soon, or will they just stick to their over priced chunk?
