Session Drummer 3 stops playback in X2

I've encountered an odd problem using Session Drummer 3. As soon as the Now Time Marker gets to the beginning of the Session Drummer 3 track it stops, and none of the midi tracks will play (piano & synth pads). I can hear the audio tracks playing, but the Now Time Marker is frozen at the beginning of the SD3 track. If I click on stop in the transport nothing happens. I have to click on the play button to stop the project, then the whole thing freezes up and I have to use Control-Alt-Delete to shut down Sonar. When I first created the SD3 track it played fine; it wasn't until the next day when I opened the project that the problem occured. Any ideas on what's happening and how I can correct this?
 
I'm using Sonar X2a with a Sweetwater Creation Station with Windows 7 and a Saffire Pro 40 interface. All the other projects play, only this project with SD3 exhibits the problem. The project played before I added SD3. The only other thing I did to the project before closing it the first time was add some folders for the vocal tracks and non-Session Drummer midi tracks. I've done this with other projects and had no problems so I don't think that's a factor.

    Yep it's happening here too. When I reload a project with session drummer three of any kind in it, and sonars playback marker is about to play it, it just stops and freezes and I have to force shut down. If I reload the project and even open the session drummer interface and hit the sounds or play its internal midi file, it works, is only when sonars playback of the project reaches the session drummer midi in the arrange page it freezes. It only happens after a project has been saved and left and then reloaded to work on again later. It happened at least ten times to me today, and session drummer was one of the very main reasons I chose producer over studio. It's actually unusable for me. Is anyone using it in real projects without issue?

    Same happening to me.
     
    I've just wasted 40 mins sat at my workstation re-booting Sonar X2 about 12 times as it keeps crashing when Session Drummer 3 track starts.
