Quantize one MIDI clip based another

I usually don't do a lot of MIDI edits across clips, so I tend to forget the options, but last night I was looking for quantizing one MIDI clip based on the timing and feel of another - something like you can do for audio data with AudioSnap. I just couldn't remember how to do it, so we kept recording until it felt right ...

Well, is there feature like this or am I just crazy from the heat? If there is something like that, does it consider velocity (i.e. dynamics in the performance)

cheers

    Hi Rob,

Yep, check out the Groove Quantize feature. I'm sure there are details in the SONAR help or you can check out pages 149 to 150 in SONAR X2 Power!
