Generating MIDI event patterns

Does anyone know how to generate MIDI event patterns in SONAR Home Studio 6?

I just created the following pattern manually all the way zoomed in using '409' as the duration.
It took forever and really kills motivation. Is there a way to generate what I did manually?

Click the Show Controller Pane button in the toolbar or press C on the computer keyboard.
This will allow you to draw in MIDI events at the bottom of the screen.

    What Greg said.

With the controller pane open, you can draw that in a matter of seconds.

Thanks all, but I need the spaces between the events (the duration) perfect, and I aint a perfect drawer.

Looks like I'll have to do it the manual way.
