Problem with presets not appearing in Pro Channel

I have had a problem with Pro Channel since installing X2 ages ago in that when I hover the pointer over the bar at the top of the strip that should then open the folder icon, it has been a situation that it either shows or mostly won't. Shut the session down and reopen it and then it may show with no problems. However, lately the situation has got worse in that I may have a 10% chance now of getting this folder icon to appear so have no way of opening the Pro Channel presets .
 
Has anybody else experienced this or know what the problem could be. Thanks.

    its usually always there but just a little quirky as you say.
    just click on the spot where it is located and it will magically re-appear. :)
     
    I've have good luck with this as I can load presets while transport is in motion as well without audio dropout.

    I realised through the last part of your answer to stop playback and try it, and it opens every time instantly  Never had a problem with it previously while in play, but if it works this way I am happy, must be a bug with the computer that's causing an issue. Will track it down one day. Thanks
