Where is the setting for dim solo volume?

I found it useful to solo the recording track while the rest are dimmed but it could be quieter yet.

Win XP, intel Core2 Duo CPU E4600 @ 2.4 GHz, 2 GHz RAM  
Nvidia gforce 8500 GT    
BR800 controller , DR880 drum machine. GR20 guitar synth, Alesis QX25 
KRK 6 + 10" sub.   Sennheiser HD280pro cans  
2 Yamaki acoustics, Korean Strat, 60's Jazzmaster, 60's BF Deluxe Reverb,

    I don't exactly understand the question, be more specific?
     
    I mean, you can use any means of lowering any track you perfer, at any time for a recording.
    Fader in the mixer, bus gain, track gain etc...What are you trying to do?

    The Dim Solo Gain setting can be found under:

    Edit > Preferences > Driver Settings
     
    Options are -6dB, -12dB and -18dB.

    CallmeFree, I'm using the dim solo as a quick and easy way to make all the other tracks equally quieter while you record a new track. There are 3 settings -6, -12 and -18 db.
