AAS Player - How to sync delay with project tempo?

I have the free AAS Player (from Applied Acoustics Systems).  There's a patch I like, but it contains a delay which seems to be 1.5 times faster than the project tempo.  If I increase the project tempo, the delay speeds up accordingly.

I'd like to use the patch, but I want its delay to be in sync with the project.
The AAS Player doesn't let us edit patches in any way.  It also doesn't let us "disconnect" from the project tempo.
So, how can I use the patch with its delay in sync with the project tempo?
It seems like I have these options:

a) reduce the project's tempo, record the AAS track, freeze it, and then speed the project back up to the same tempo until it's in sync with the AAS track's delay
-- CON: discourages edits to the track
-- CON: not fun performance-wise

b) somehow "trick" the AAS Player into thinking the project tempo is different from what it really is
-- QUESTION: is this even possible in X2?

c) use a different synth to play the AAS sound banks
-- QUESTION: is there any other synth that can play them?

d) any other ideas?

Thanks!

Buy the AAS synth the patch is design for and adjust the patch to suit in the synth

Is there an AAS Synth for sale?  I don't see one on the AAS web site.  Am I blind?

Bunches of them all on that page. The AAS player plays patches that were created for all the synths on that page. If you look at splash page for the collection in AAS player it will tell you what synth was used to create the patches. The exception is the Swatches collection as it is a sampling of patches from the other collections. You can see the info about each collection on the AAS website too.

There are several synths sold by AAS. You just need to find out which one was used to create the patches you have. For example, Cardinals was created using Chromophone and Journeys was created using String Studio VS-1.

I have "bought" three sound packs from them so far.  I put "bought" in quotes because all three were freebies.  I would never have spent any money on them, because I don't like electronic-sounding patches (and these are very electronicish); I'm mostly interested in acoustic samples.

So, I'm definitely not going to shell out $99 for an AAS synth.  Even $9 would be pushing it.  (...for me; others might like the electronic sounds more than I do).

    That leaves these options:

    a) reduce project tempo, record AAS track, freeze it, speed project back up

    b) "trick" AAS Player into thinking project tempo is different from reality

    I don't like #a.

However, #b would be useful, not just in this context, but with other synths as well.  Somehow X2 is telling AAS Player the project tempo.  Is there a way to get X2 to report a different project tempo to a synth?
