Thanks to this forum, X2 is working great here

Hey all,

Started with Sonar 2 XL 11 years ago and this forum is the only outside help I needed.
Upgraded from 8.5 to X2 not long ago and once again turned to the forum for help with the download and a couple small issues.

X2 seems like an incredible upgrade to me, and very reasonable price.  Effect chains are easy.  Really like BREVERB 2.  All my projects sound better.

The replies to my posts illuminate areas I never thought of, and somehow succeed in getting me where I need to be.
Even though I'm still just a novice tinkering with Cake after my day job to create background music to my own acoustic guitar and vocals, I am treated to the best advice from some amazing folks right here.

Thanks for the help over the years!

Ron

    A BIG +1

The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

    great post man.
like to hear this because as we all know there's been some tension around here and a higher count in threads of "where's my update"
I think these type of threads get over looked because lets face it,

when we are running good and having no problems, who has time to start these "sonars running great threads" ?
not us because we are enjoying our software.
I think people who are frustrated tend to take over the threads with negative titles complaining of annoying things. and theres nothing wrong with that once in a while but of course there's a lot of those threads because those people are unhappy and want to voice they're frustrations.

we as happy users are busy making music and have little need to make threads like this one.
but I think if the happy users did make threads like this every day, there might be more positives then negative threads.

    great thread.
