And the new thingy... is it actual synth samples/patches or more loops? The CC page is still blank.

Well... I like Zeta stuff so that's cool I guess. Aside from the Groove3 promo though most of these freebies haven't really been too exciting for me. Still nice to have extra bleeps and blaps around though I suppose if I want to add something weird to a track.

I would like to know if anyone has opened up these patches for Z3TA 2, you find them to loud and distorted and have to click on the limiter.  Even with the limiter on I have to turn the pads down to -12db to know what they sound like.

I find that with Z3TA's stock patches. I have to turn them way way down. I wish some of these synths would have a master volume that was unaffected by patch settings.

I wonder if the is a problem only in Z3TA 2 and not 1?  I don't experience this in other synths.

Plus the Trance Euphoria folder doesn't show up in Z3TA 2. I have to load them using windows folders.

Both the zeta+ and z3ta+2 presets are loud. I do have the presets show up in zeta+2. To get the Trance Euphoria to show in zeta+2 you need to have the directory from Programs > Trance Euphoria > Trance Euphoria

    Hi Beepster...

I'm pretty sure you can still download the drum kit... Pretty nice kit tho I still find myself using the Steven Slate kits... A version I created using the dry Zep kit with the dry sizzle kick replacing the Zep kick...

    Kite,
I too had an issue with the patches showing up.
Dropped them in the "Programs" folder and no dice.
Moved them to "Programs/user" and all was well.
Created a folder (in Programs) called "Third Party", moved all my additional content there and all is well.
    Go figure?

I don't like to whine but: The Zeta patches are ridiculously loud and the midi content is all out of key (if this is due to a setting in Sonar I can't find it) and after 5 to 10 minutes playing around Sonar crashed.
I understand that it's a freebie but for heavens sake

While I still didn't received an email from Cakewalk, I did receive one a couple of days ago from Applied Acoustics Systems (AAS) who were the source for the second to last content giveaway.  To celebrate their 15 years of existence they gave me another free choice so I picked up the Journeys collection which I had reluctantly passed over last time.

I haven't seen mention of this second offer, but I presume that everyone that took advantage of the offer last time also got the email from them.

Do you have to register with another company to take advantage of the current offer? I'm avoiding any more registrations I don't want. Have there been any genuine Cakewalk products offered in this program or is it always 3rd party?

The current content club offering does not require anything but a 227MB download from your store account. Nothing to register anywhere. Cakewalk products were never part of the Content Club, from the Content Club web page:

Every other month Cakewalk will feature new content from one of our industry partners.

I was hoping for the Concrete Limiter LOL (Missed the part about the industry partners. ;) )

I own Sonar and NI Komplete so I have already more sounds and patches and what not then I can handle. ;) If I want to check out everything I already own, I won't have the time to create some music until I am eighty. Still, obviously it's nice to get something for free. Unfortunately I bought Sonar X2 only recently and this was the first and last 'I am so excited, what shall I get' moment I had... and it's one that didn't get me excited. I won't even download it. SSD space is precious. ;) But again: it's a nice idea so thanks anyway CW!

Sonar 8.5 PE, Edirol FA-66, Behringer C-1. All instruments in my songs are VSTi's.

    Hi all,

You just need to add the programs into a subfolder - there's a 3 level structure to the way the .fxp files need to be stored in Z3TA+ 2 ..... so in the Programs folder you need  Bank Folder | Subfolder | patch.fxp   .... simples :-)

Cool. I should probably get on that today. Thanks. My brain has been unfortunately been preoccupied with not so fun stuff so I keep forgetting.

Also thanks to those mentioning the AAS freebie. I would not have known about that otherwise. There were a couple other neat patch banks I was interested in aside from the one a snagged through the CC so that's cool. Hopefully they work better as VSTs or whatever though. Couldn't get the AAS standalone player to work.
