FF has been becoming a bit of a PITA the past couple years but I still use it. I'd still rather use it than a Google product. Have you considered Opera?

I've used Opera.  Well, I've used a Night at the Opera.  It's almost the same thing.

Opera 64 bit is reasonably decent.  There are some sites that don't play nicely with it, but I'm generally happy with it.  FF with NoScript is pretty good when you want to run clean and block all the big bad scripts from running.  If you want sites to work as designed, however, it can be a bit of a pain.

Maybe it's just me (and I'm ALL OVER the net), but I have very few issues with IE9.  I've got IE10 on a box designed to mirror what a customer has and I'm not crazy about it (at least not during the few times I've had to use it).

Not sure what the real fuss is about - other than personal issues with Microsh!te of course.

I moved to Chrome since my ISP uses gmail-based email. In IE8/9 I could access the features of my email. What I noticed was Chrome was more responsive on EVERYTHING compared to IE8/9.

YMMV.

Chrome is indeed quite snappy compared to the others... at least it was last time I used it. I just prefer to have access to the FF add ons and Google is kind of creepy.
