staff view in x2....help!

staff view in x2....help!

I haven't been on the forums in awhile.....road gigs and Nashville...lol....working on a piano track and need to edit in staff view.....there is a flatted note that I need to drag down a whole step...but the not defaults to a regular note underneath...what am I doing wrong? Thanks

    Make sure you don't have Snap to Scale on in the Track Inspector.

    If you right click on the note you can open up the note properties. Hit the tab key and the - key twice. Then hit enter and it will move down a whole step.

    Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
