In the studio...

A few years old but I wanted to check it out.
It's the deluxe edition- CD and DVD for @14 dollars.

I don't know if they planned on making it seem like the listener/viewer
would be in the booth but I did.
Kicked back and I was glad I sprung for the Ultrasones.
I'd enjoy more DVDs like this...jammin' in the studio.
Don't think I'll ever get use to watching the guitar played upside down though :)

I played with a left for three years who just takes a r/h guitar and flips it.

I got used to it so much that when i started playing with a normal r/h player it was disconcerting.

King doesn't play on his finger tips or very little which makes
    it even stranger looking.

Youtubing it as I type....(Texas Flood)....two of my favorites (AK & SRV).
+1 for the Ultrasones......I have resorted to mixing on them as well (at night when everyone's sleeping) and I'm very glad to make that investment too.

When it started there was a statement that the DVD included
a lot of stuff that had not been seen before. I don't know what.

Well they did a fine job mixing because nothing distracted me from
the ones that I've had time to enjoy.

I like it when Mr. King says "Guit-Fiddle".

I have that rather nice album too.  I've always liked "Call It Stormy Monday" (including the Jethro Tull version they played live for radio somewhere).

Heh, actually I have TWO copies of this, 'cause my Mom actually had one as well.  Surprised the heck out of me when I had to box her CD's before moving.  Go Mom!
