Debb - there are plenty, free and not free.

Check out the Cakewalk website under Community and see CakeTV for a long, convenient list of free material.

In the Cakewalk Store there may presently be some heavily discounted not free tutorials. Look under the Monthly Specials section and look for the Groove 3 tutorials on Sonar X1. All three are excellent and will help you tremendously.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

    Thanks!
I've had X1 for maybe a year or so, started using it, got too complicated because of
studio gear problems and now I'm ready again (I think).  I've been using a combination of a movie software program's recording program *and* another program and now I'm ready for the real deal.  ONE more question for now --- is it possible to set X1 to record WITHOUT reverb BUT to get reverb through my headset?

My gear:  My computer has a cable to my midi keyboard (rarely used) connected to a Mackie mixer 1202, connected to an Alesis Quadraverb and back into the computer.  I need that reverb to hear myself play.  Addiction, I guess. lol

P.S. Thanks for the tip on Cake TV.  My Sony movie making software has been a 24/7 ordeal for quite some time.

Thank you both so much for your help. My other message may have gotten lost in cyberspace, but can I record using reverb in my headset and have it record dry in the program?   I have a mixer.  Thanks.
