Music Creator 6 Touch Not Picking Up Input From Saffire 6

I've purchased Music Creator 6 Touch on Steam for Windows 7. I'm using the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB as in input device for guitar and microphone recording. However, while the program recognizes that the device is there, when I try to actually use it, the program doesn't pick up any sound from the input. I've tried with all the available driver settings (WDM, WASAPO, ASIO, and MME) and nothing seems to be working. I don't know if there's something I'm missing, and the tutorial videos I've watched don't mention anything about problems like this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Welcome to the forum!
What dou mean by "does not pick up sound from the input"?
Is the level meter moving but you can't hear anything? In that case switching on "Input echo" might help. Or is there no life in the level meter?
It is an audio track you're trying to record on, right?

What do you mean by "the program recognizes that the device is there?" Does it mean you can see it in the list of inputs of the track? Do you hear the signal?

Do you have the Saffire selected as the playback and recording timing master in Preferences and I/O drivers selected? Driver mode per se should not have anything to do with signal routing.

How are you connecting things for recording? If you have a condenser microphone, do you have phantom power on? Is there any kind of signal/peak light in the Saffire to know the guitar signal is high enough, or is there a Hi-Z input for instruments?

With the Saffire interface, switch to the ASIO driver and run the Wave Profiler again.   ASIO is the preferred driver for Focusrite interfaces. I have a Saffire Firewire and it runs great on ASIO.

Focusrite also has a software control panel which allows you to set the input and output levels and to mute or unmute them. Be sure you have the control panel set properly. That was my problem when I started. It took a bit of doing to figure that control panel out....... It took me some time in there playing around until I got the sound and began to understand it a bit.

Be sure to get the newest focusrite drivers from their site.
