A Hollywood, Calif. recording engineer and “soundware” developer has reduced the asking price on his 15th-floor townhouse at the Setai in Miami Beach to $18.5 million from an initial $22 million, according to the listing’s broker, Jill Eber.
“White lacquer walls, 18-foot ceilings, mosaics — it’s very dramatic,” Eber told The Real Deal.
Recording engineer Douglas Rogers, the founder of software instruments company EastWest and owner of the historic EastWest Recording Studios, put the townhouse on the market in February for $22 million.
The 3,650-square-foot unit at 101 20th Street in South Beach features three balconies, four bedrooms and a double height oceanfront living room with a wraparound staircase. —
