Undo a Screenset

I was trying to type a number into a Vienna dialog box and Sonar assumed I was selecting a screen set.  I got some completely useless view and had to close the project and lose a few edits to get rid of it.

Is there no way to it a "go back" key?  I find it extremely annoying that someone would think it was good to lay traps that would suddenly screw up your view.

Thanks.

Konrad

If you need to input numbers use the num pad. As to undo try going to the first one (1) on you keyboard.

I think where John is going is that there is no back key per-se, but if you hit the number for the screenset you just left, you should return to the same screenset you just left.

I thought holding the left mouse button and then clicking the right mouse button (while still holding the left button)
was the undo view for screensets.
    its worked here.
as well does vice versa on this combo.

Thanks.  The mouse idea seems good.

And hitting 1 is cool if 1 is the default view/screenset.

My basic operating mode is Track View with Inspector on the left and Browser on the right and Control Bar at the top.  All other views are closed until I need them.  (Sonar opens new projects with Console View open at the bottom which is fine, but I always close it since I use a hardware console.)

You can change this behaviour by opening up your normal template, make the necessary changes to the screenset, LOCK the screenset & save as a template

Or maybe it's the same problem I had before. My template was created from the Normal template and I locked the screenset with the MultiDock minimized but every time I opened the project I saw the MultiDock half opened. When I reinstalled X2/X2a it got fixed (don't remember if it was a clean install or not because I have reinstalled X2/X2a several times).

    Tak T.

LOL. I'm still here but can't type very well ATM as my dominant index finger is in a splint. I've been chucking myself down a racetrack in my spare time. Trust me that sort of crash hurts much more than a software crash.

Another tip is if a screenset is accidentally changed the "revert" option in the screenset menu/module will set it back to how it was.

Screenset | Revert is an excellent tip.  Thanks.

Sonar is generous with its shortcut keys, or, as I call them, booby traps for unwitting users.
