Not a Les Paul...
This lady showed up in my newsfeed this morning. I'm usually into traditional guitars but I figured that this was one of the cool "special" guitars I had seen.

Good question! If you went that far, you should at least be able to turn the lights on and even hit the turn signal.

That's IT! I'm such a sucker for 50's memorabilia. Though... First time my wife and I hit the road out of Vegas, I immediately spotted this road sign saying "Peggy Sue's 50s" Dinner or something similar. We couldn't stop on our way to - the place was jam packed, so we ended up at Jack in the box (which sucks, btw). On our way from, we dropped by at 2 pm, so there was room. I regretted the minute I walked in. Though visually, I guess it reminded me of the places my mom was so fond of. A dream whipped hydrogenated fat kind of place. I hadn't had such bad food since we'd left spain last year. It was like Christmas in Madrid all over again. Went to the restroom and remembered just how much hygiene had progressed since the 70s. Traveling back in time isn't all that fun after all...

Hi,
That guitar that the Scorpions guy uses is also pretty cool.
I like the ones that Daevid and Stiv use ... headless and lots of glissando ... but I wonder if that is a lost art ... even Jimmy Page used a bow for fun ... and we haven't heard it yet, even in the Coffee House Band!
What a shame!
Someone specified that one of the great things on these is that their sustain is much better. And I'm still looking to get that Status Graphite bass, but I did not realize that they are made to order, just about ... the guy asked to measure my hand!
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
