Roland TD10 drum kit to midi problem

Hi,
I record on the Roland TD10 drum kit, midi, to Sonar, through a Midisport 4X4.  When two drums are hit at the same time, only one responds with a sound.  Only one records.  I have to stop playing the hihat at the moment the tom needs to be recorded. What is wrong?
thanks

That makes no sense at all. Think of as each drum or cymbal as a different key on a piano. You are or should be sending a different note number for each drum or cymbal but all on the same channel.

Drums usually send and receive on channel 10. Do you have local control OFF in the drum brain and midi echo enabled on the track ?

I really can't think of any configuration in Sonar that could cause this. Sorry.

    Best,

    Danny

wa1000 - I use the TD10 with Sonar all the time. I can set you right. It works really well.

First off, are you using separate MIDI send channels for each piece?

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Figured it out...Something glitched in the TD10, due to changing a perimeter, some insignificant byte deep in the bowels of the command hierarchy.   I must have changed something without changing it back...anyway, just rebooted to the factory settings and the midi works again.
