Export Quality Loss

Not sure if this is just standard... But when I export to .wav file, there's a tone-loss that occurs. I don't really understand the quality loss, but I figured I'd ask if anyone has the same issue. I figured this out when I tried exporting the file and then loading it back in to the same file. Perhaps the mixdown process is too strenuous. I've tried first freezing the audio and applying effects but that has little effect on the final package so any advice you guys have would be appreciated.

    An export done correctly results an audio file exactly as your project.
    It's good to route everything through the Master Bus which you then use as export source.
    Do you maybe accidentally listen to the re-imported file through some FX?
     
    How are you exporting? How are your tracks routed and what are your export settings? It's hard to guess anything without knowing anything about how you're doing things.

    Hey, sorry about the delayed response. In truth, I don't know how to adjust my export settings. I use the big "Export" button on my bar. The only Export settings I found were the bit depths, and everything is set to 32.

    But if you could tell me how to route tracks, that may help.

    I'm not using effects on the imported track, I did check that. Though I sometimes, use an equalizer to try to get things back to the original quality. A high boost and a low pass filter is generally effective, but still not desired.

    Try using File>Export instead. That should bring up the Export menu.

    Export to 16/44.1 so it is compatible with CD players worldwide.
     
    But yeah, follow Greg's post.... the audio should be exact before and after the export.
     
    Tracks should be routed to the master bus and it goes to the sound card. This is the normal default set up.

    Ok, in neither Music Creator 6, nor Music Creator 6 touch do I get any menu when going to File>Export. There's an option of Audio or Template, if I hit audio it simply wants to save it as a wav file. And the quality loss is minimal... it's taken me a long time to notice it... but on a few projects, it's just enough...
