A few issues with X1

Ok, here we go, have a few issues with Sonar X1, If I can solve these issue, I will upgrade to x2, if not well....

anyways, I have had Sonar X1 for a couple of years, I have admit I was very dissapointed with it, but he we go again,

1st off interface will the UA-1010, solve head-room issue, I've had with both the Alesis Firewire mixer and the EA-25

2nd how the #^$%! do I get the plug-ins to work during recording a track, sans a little comp etc, I have looked everywhere/on and off to fix this issue.

Many-Thanks
RJ

You should be posting the the forum above this one. This forum is for older versions of SONAR. I don't know what headroom issue you are having with your interface and how that relates to your choice of DAW. All versions of SONAR record tracks dry. While tracking, plug-ins can be used for monitoring via track echo but will not be recorded.
