Longshot Question -- Virus C Desktop Output Configuration

Well, I don't feel like joining yet another forum (infekted.org) to post one, stupid question on a "vintage" piece of hardware. So what better place to post my question then this here, fine forum! Perhaps someone has more experience than me with this synth and can offer some advice. Well, here goes...

Overall, the Virus C is true multi-timbral synth, and I wish to use it that way. However, I am trying to figure out how to route various parts to different outputs (i.e. Out-1 [Main], Out-2 or Out-3). The menu in the "multi-mode" setup (after edit key pressed) does indeed allow for setting up a "second output," meaning that in addition to always outputting sound on Out-1 (main), you can select either mono or stereo outs, or internal-aux routing. However, the problem is that I think that sound must always come out of Out-1, and it cannot be turned off. Is this true?

This is unlike the Waldorf Q, which allows you to select EITHER of it's outputs (main, sub1 or sub2) for any part in multi-mode. Truly a well designed machine.

I fear...(not really as I find myself liking the Virus less and less!)...that the outputs are non-configurable as I intend.

Thanks for any info and help!
