My office manager needs help with Win 7 screen appearance...

Just a shot in the dark here as I don't know what's causing this but the main computer on our office managers desk is now showing completely different "looks" on both her yahoo main and yahoo email pages and her facebook page looks completely different as well.  Her work apps...i.e. quickbooks, etc...all look the same as always.  We're thinking it is some key or key combo that was entered because she leaves her computer on over weekends and this weekend I KID YOU NOT a raccoon got in the building and caused a major cleanup condition.  And, apparently, one of it's last stops before exiting back through the ceiling tile from whence it came was to pitter patter around on her desk and computer keyboard.  Anywhoo...any help anyone can give regarding getting her screens back to the normal yahoo and facebook looks will be much appreciated.

Check to see if java is disabled in options.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

We've got a raccoon that stops by occasionally to check out our water feature in the back yard.  I've named him Floyd - he's cool.

    (No, he's not pink.)

Sorry.  But you did say a raccoon changed the PC settings (and, in our defense, you did post in the Coffee House).

Try F11 (full screen / back out of full screen).

Yup...that's what we're thinking.  She leaves her computer on overnight and on weekends and the little critter left tracks all over her desk.  The only thing that's changed is that her yahoo main screen, her yahoo email screen and her facebook screen all are completely different formats now.  Her app screens are still showing up the same.  It's some kind of internet view thingy I guess.

Luckily the raccoon seems to have moved on as we have not had another nocturnal episode.

I would suggest putting a password and locking the PC when she goes home (just in case Rocky returns and decides to hack it).

What you are describing is how the web browser is displaying websites.  This is not a windows issue. It is a browser issue.

Each browser has setting for text size, zoom, font to use,.....

Do the pages look the same using Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer?

She only has IE.  I don't think that ol Rocky hacked into her internet options menu AND changed them as well.  But who knows?

In that case, make sure she's at 100% zoom (check the bottom right of the screen).   Typing Ctrl-0 should bring you back to 100%.

I'm thinking the raccoon was a Mac user.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.
