Problems grabbing clip to manipulate

Hi all -

I just starting using Sonar X2 Essential and it was working fine. All of the sudden, I was unable to grab the end of a clip and drag it anywhere (specifically to make it overlap with another punched clip so I could apply a crossfade).  I tried to select/grab clips throughout this project and I'm unable to where I was before.
I have the feeling I selected/deselected some kind of function button but cannot figure out what.

Any idears?

I'm using Windows 7 OS.

Thanks.

Are you sure it is a Clip? First do a normal select then press <CNTRL-L> and then try extending.

Do you want to extend the clip (loop)? Or just move it in time? mmorgan has the answer above for a loop clip. Otherwise, if you just want to move it, you should be able to select the clip and then click and drag in the top portion of the clip area.

Was trying to slip edit and just didn't have the right tool selected. Took me an age to find that tool toolbar (pressing "T" key) but got it! Thanks!
