Silver, Gold, and Platinum

Although it is not important, I am curious where it is documented what makes one a silver member v a gold member v a platinum member.  It is no doubt based on number of posts, but I have never seen this documented anywhere.  What is the rule?

One day a while ago I was suddenly silver.

Yes, it's usually the number of posts. That's how it is over on the DigiFreq Forums too...

I just wondered what the specific numbers were for gold, platinum, etc.  Thought it might be out here somewhere.

Funny.  Yeah, I don't care what badge I have.  After all, I am The Mighty Konrad.  I was just curious because I am pretty active so these dudes who are platinum must have been giving advice on this forum since Eisenhower was in office.

Simples just +1 every post you visit or -1 if you disagree, go down to the CH and chat about nothing but reply to every reply you get then in a matter of weeks you will be a platypus.

Or alternately you could spend more time making music then display your talents in the SONGS forum and reply to every reply, comment on every song and again you will be a platypus in no time.

Just remember post count means nothing it just shows how much time you spend not making music.

It might be a better system if the 'helpful post" label applied to the rating system. Platinum status is awarded to most helpful members etc...

Uh-oh, my secret's out. Yeh, that photo is about 15 years old. I'm not trying to misrepresent myself, though - ever since I was bitten by a bat in eastern Europe I no longer show up in mirrors or photographs.
