Something a bit cheerful :)

Tried to write a happy tune.Its come out a bit cheesey (as happy songs nearly always do ???) I tried to make the recording sound a bit gritty like an old record.The tune is called something a bit cheerful..please follow the link and u'll see it .Hope you enjoy it !

    That's some good piano playing there kev, sounds really nice. Nice job on the keyboards.

    Wow that is cheerful, and quite peppy...
    Seems way over-compressed though...
    I think it would sound better with some dynamic range...

    Yes,its overcompressed,I guess I went a bit overload with it lol. I'll work on a fresh mix I think and work on the dynamic range in the recording.
    Glad u liked the piano playing :)

    Nice job - cool piano arrangement!  And cheerful for sure.  And you did get that old sound like a 78 record.  I suppose those records did sound compressed.
