Control hold message from Roland GR 55

Hi,
I am trying to find a way to have Sonar X2 Producer receive a Control Change # from my Roland GR55 guitar synth.
The control pedal is set to “hold” the patch in the system settings, and the Midi out control change number is assignable for this effect on the GR55. I have the GR55 linked to sonar via Midi USB and the soft synth Omnisphere all works fine and produces sound.  How do I get Sonar to receive this message and hold the soft synth sound at the same time as the pedal is pushed on the GR 55?
Any help would be greatfully appreciated,

    What CC are you trying to send? Make sure in Preference-MIDI-Playback and Recording that you have Controller and Patch Changes selected.

    Hello !
    Please  help me with my gr 55 !!!!!
    I boght a Gr 55 and it sound great but I'm having a problem
    when switch to guitar on the GK-3 it mutes it
    can anybody help me ?
