V Vocal missing

V Vocal missing

I looked thru the forum. And see that others may have had this problem . All of a sudden my V-vocal is missing. I know how to use it, by right clicking on the vocal track and going down to it in the menu, but it is greyed out. Never has before. I am thinking only way to correct this is to reinstall Sonar 8.5.3. If I need to do this, do I need to move my projects over to another drive, so they are not deleted also? Or just install Sonar over the existing program?

    Try bouncing the clip and see if the V-Vocal option returns.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    You have to select a portion of a clip or an entire clip before you can add V-Vocal to it.

    Had the exact same thing just happen.

    I have X2 Producer on a windows 7 64bit machine and can't seem to find V Vocal. Have used it a few times recently and now it's MIA.
