Need Help with 2 Problems in Sonar X2

Hi everyone
I have these major issues :
1-When i import a wav file (usually short and medium length) they not locate in the time i want and goes to far end(like measure 2567!)
2-after Recording a MIDI track(not audio) it fits to a little backward (about 1/8) and i have to move it forward manually

Any Advice would be greatfull!

The first is because the imported file has a time stamp on it. In preferences you turn off so the Sonar will ignore the time stamp,

On no. 2 I can't say I know what you are asking.  Are you say the MIDI is late?

If its moves after you recorded it, then you either have 'Snap To Grid' enabled or you have some sort of 'Offset' enabled in the preference menu.

The MIDI timing might be off (depending on what audio/MIDI device is used).
RME MIDI ports used to have an issue with Sonar (had to load a specific driver to solve it)... where the MIDI timing was a bit off (but it was consistent)

If the OP (or his client) stops exporting Broadcast Wav files from the previous app/s, the first problem will (also) go away.

FWIW, I don't remember the 828mkIII having an issue with MIDI timing.
Worst case scenario, you could use a dedicated MIDI interface.
ie: Cakewalk UM-One ($40)
