Movie Talk: Clockers

Watched it on Netflix last night. It was made in 1995, but it felt like it could have been made yesterday.
 
I thought it did a great job of illustrating how people respond, or maybe have difficulty responding, to predicaments that may seem out of their control.
 
Has anyone else seen it?
