The Zombie Walk

I don't know where this came from....
It's still kind of a rough mix, so tear it up if you need to.
It's called "The Zombie Walk"

Man, this is great! I love the lyrics ("they're all d.o.a." LOL). Great job on the honky-tonk piano and the spankin guitar. Very fun song.

I liked this from the very first note.  Great lyrics!  Mix sounds good to me as is.  I'm not the best ears up here but this really is nice.  Timely tune with the zombie frenzy that's happening now.  The BGV are really precise and mixed nicely.

Amusing lyrics, mix sounds good here.  Thanks for sharing.

Leadfoot- Thanks! The piano is a hired gun, but he plays what I ask and he works cheap. The guitar is an old Tele I picked up cheap, LOL, "cheap" seems to be the operative word here.

Tim - I really appreciate that bud. Writing the lyrics is my favorite part of the whole process along with producing/mixing it. I love to play but recording what I play is a chore since it seems to be the weakest link of my chain. Wish I could play like you...

John - Glad you liked it! Keep up the good work!

Frank - Thanks bud, I'll revisit the eq on the BG vox. Your stuff always sounds so good so if you like it I'm on the right track.

Warren- Thank you. LOL, zombies aren't, as a rule, something I would write about but, what the heck... After I had recorded the bg vox they sounded ok, but I wanted that "Jordanaires" sound so I ran them through Melodyne. That's why they're so precise. Appreciate it!

Wookie- If it made you laugh or smile I accomplished what I set out to do. Many thanks!

    Nice work.

The title dragged me in..... had to have a listen. Glad I did.

Very well done all the way around. Nice job on the guitars (solos) and the lyric writing was tops.

the story is fitting.... people walking around dead inside and trying to look alive..... spot on observation and love how you expressed it.

My wife has a new expression: digital zombies.   people so focused on their digital toys and phones they are dead (oblivious) to what's really around them.

This is great! "The Zombie Walk" I like it ! One would think it is more of a Halloween song, but this is an awesome song. The tune and concept is lovely and this music is very different!
