X2 - Incorrect Midi Length in PRV

Hello all,

I seem to have a bizarre issue with incorrect midi note lengths being displayed in PRV mode.

For example:

I'll have a midi note that is 0:500 in length, I'll then put two midi notes with PRQ values of 0:250 adjacent to eachother starting at the same time as the 0:500 but they appear longer. - The 0:500 note appears not to be representing it's true value (or vice versa).

Anyone else come across this odd behavior?

Thank you

My guess would be that snap to grid is causing some overlap in your placement of the two shorter events because a 16th note is 240 ticks, and an 8th is 480.

I've turned snap to grid off. I'll post some pics of the issue when I get a chance.

Check what the event list has to say about the note lengths.  That should tell you without question how long SONAR things the notes in question are.

on your prv snap setting turn off "last touched".
very powerfull tool.but this will vary notes to the last one you've touched if you not using it for that (properly).
