All Aux sends visible at once?
Can anyone tell me how I get all the aux sends in a track visible at once, like it was in Sonar 8.5? Now it takes so much time for me to jump fast to an aux send or his setting. It is in the track view as well in the console view. I can see only two at once now and have to use the up-down arrows to scroll throught the whole list. That takes too much time. And can anybody tell me how I can change the font size of the big blue characters of the names of the plug-ins in the effects bin to a smaller one (In the track view)? Now it is impossible for me to see them all, or completely. Thanks!

You can only see 2 with X1 or X2. You no longer can see 4, like you could in Sonar 8.5 and older Cj

No, I'm sorry but in Sonar 8.5 I can see them ALL at once, not only 4. Just by making the track dimension higher. That is just a matter of one second, and then I see them all. Works very fast to me, sometimes I use more than 12 send-busses in a track. What you say is very seriously to me: if it is no longer possible in X1/X2 I turn back to Sonar 8.5 64 bit, as it works flawless for me, also with these options. You know, over and over again I am so disappointed in X1/X2 by loosing these very important options. The only reason I somtimes use X1 is for the possibiliy to watch my rex-files in 64 bit. Thanks anyhow.

There's the option of chaining busses, outs of buss A feed ins of buss B, etc. You'll still only see two sends per buss, but more will be visible at a time.

Jay Tee, what do you mean by "more will be visible at a time"?

you can always just quick group. I know your saying this is a big problem and your going back to 8.5 if you can only use 2 at a time but really... its one click ? highlight all the tracks you want to change aux sends for and hold CONTROL button down. now use the drop down arrow to change to the next send. (this changes all of them at the same time). so 2 steps. 1-drag and highlight 2-hold control and click.

I don't understand the problem. In track view, I often have six sends and I can see them all just by increasing the track height. When I need to adjust aux sends, I use Auto-Zoom and set the "reference" track to a height that shows all the sends. Then if another track has as many sends, I can just click on it and it becomes the correct height.

Karl Rose (also known as FastBikerBoy on this forum) has posted a video on how to (kind of) solve your problem:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV-4L2dzTQU Better than nothing :)

Loptec: thanks a lot, it is a solution anyhow... i can work with it, better than nothing indeed! Anderton: I don't understand what you are tellng, maybe you talk about Sonar 8.5?? Increasing the track height in X1 does nothing with the number of sends you see! It remains two normally spoken.

Chuckebaby: it is not first of all editing, that's second. First is just to see them all and make a quick choice which one of the sends for example gives too much reverb. Sometimes I use 6 aux sends only for the reverb in one track (space, chamber, hall, long, short etc.), so I need the possibility to quickly choose and switch on/off between all the sends to notice the overall effect on the track. And that can easily be 12-15 sends. The youtube movie of Karl Rose gives anyhow a kind of solution!

Ok, in your console view you say you only see 2 sends per track/channel. Say its lead vocal on Track1. Click on that track's Output selector and send it to a buss titled perhaps Reverb 1. From the buss strip, you can create 2 sends to two verbs. From the output of the Reverb 1 buss, you can pipe it to a second buss named perhaps Reverb 2, with two more verb sends. All 4 sends will be visible, in two buss strips. Be aware that you are sequentially stacking the Reverb 1 and 2 busses this way, adding verb to verb. To avoid stacking, you could go back to Track 1 and create a send, feeding to a Reverb 2 buss, and a second send, feeding to a buss named Reverb 3, with 2 more verb sends. This would give you a total of 6 verb send towork with, on three Reverb busses, all visible at once. Once you get the Track and Busses and Sends and effects set the way you need them, you can save it as a Template and call it up as needed, without hav ing to re-create the structure from scratch for every project.

Fast Biker Boy rules, and that is a good video. But back to the Track Inspector, my X1 documentation shows pictures of the Inspector with two sends displayed and the comments above lead me to believe that is possiblw to see two at once; however, I can only see one send and have to use the arrows to change from one to the other. I don't need to see a lot of sends at once, but I often need to see two.

See the above post. Maybe it's an X1 issue, because I can do what you describe in X2.
