Switch between solo and mute

In a project I have a specific audio track that is always on mute and eventually I want to hear it. In this case I have to locate this track, turn off mute and turn on solo. After I heard it, I turn off solo and turn on mute again.
Is there any way to do this more automatically?

Would it work for you to drag the track up to the top of the project?  That would eliminate searching for it.

Yes, that would be a good idea to avoid searching for it every time. Thanks.

Group the buttons with one enabled. Then clicking either one would toggle both.

Sorry if I misunderstand your post rogeriodec, but maybe you only want to hear the audio track during the last section of the song? If so, there are two ways (maybe more).

    1. Select all audio clips that you don't want to hear and then press K (Kill) on your keyboard. This will mute the clips and you won't hear them anymore.

    2. Create an automation for either the Mute button or the Solo button. (Btw, why do you have to turn on the mute? If the Solo button is turned off you won't hear the audio track.)

    Hope that helps

    Tak T.
