New RME Drivers and DigiCheck Version

New DigiCheck Version has an interesting new tool --
ITU 1770 / EBU R 128 Meter

This tool includes new meters...
- M, momentary loudness. Measures all data with a time window of 0.4
seconds.

- S, short-term loudness. Measures all data with a time
window of 3 seconds.

- I, integrated loudness, volume over a
defined time frame. Measures all data to calculate the Loudness Units and the
Loudness Range. Instead of a time window the measurement is done manually by
Start/Stop/Pause/Reset buttons.

And it supports the K-System with related Help Files and links to Bob Katz's article from 2000...
http://www.aes.org/technical/documentDownloads.cfm?docID=65
In the settings for the new meter you can click the K-System you want to use to color-code the levels. To use different K-System Settings on different tracks, you can open multiple instances of DigiCheck. For example, if you wanted to view all your tracks at 20 but the master bus at 14, you could do that.

I've installed the new drivers and new version of DigiCheck on my main DAW and all is well. I haven't tried it yet on the Windows 8.1 Laptop. I'll report back once I can test it.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.
