Upgrading to W7 from Vista

I'm doing the upgrade vs the clean install and I've already backed up my whole pc to an external drive. Wish me luck. I'm hoping there'll be no X2 issues. If you've done the same upgrade please feel free to share your findings as they pertain to X2.

    A few months ago I (finally) upgraded from XP/Sonar 5.0 to Win 7/Sonar X2.
No issues, hiccups or any other furballs.
I did a re-format/Win7 install and it went easier than I anticipated because I haven't done that process in several years.
On as side note I'm only running an AMD Sempron 2.8 gig with 2 gig of ram which is below recommended specs.
I did the free trial to test my system and I can record 4 tracks simultaneously (Delta 44) with a few effects for over an hour without problems.

No complaints here....hope that offers some valid perspective.

Good luck Tony! I really like Windows 7. I have X1 Expanded and it seems to play nice with W7. I did a clean install. But I like to wipe the drive clean every 6 months or so anyway.:) I hope it goes smoothly for you!

You shouldn't have any issues, but if you do, you'll just need to do the clean install.
